Museum of Modern Art
Working with SIA Acoustics and Bental and Bental Architects we provided an audio-visual system that not only provides background music, sound reinforcement, and paging, but also allows custom setups for special events.
The loudspeakers blend in with the ceiling to keep the design in conformance with the museum's design goals. Special wall plates were made in five different, exact colors including mirror polish stainless steel to meet the museum's strict standards.
The system is controll by a Dell computer with a seventeen-inch touch screen driving BSS Soundweb digital signal processors. Custom software was developed to allow not only for direct control, but also timed scheduling of events.
